i spray painted my bike in june of 2026 with rose gold glitter rust-oleum paint. you know how it is with glitter. the chinese manual and bike lock that came with it caused more stress than what the bike was worth. both were useless, and i had to go out and buy a bolt cutter for 18$ to remove the lock after it got stuck. but i got a lovely new one from masterlock that just worked so smoothly compared to my past experience with that other lock that i almost cried. thank you MasterLock. that was beautiful. bike is unusable but glittery
another one of my white girl hobbies: bracelets. my braceletbook account. i use embroidery thread and envy other girls with soft expensive yarn threads, or the ones that fade into 20 different colors. i have 1 ball of white yarn. photos of my thread storage- i made bobbins from cardboard from box tabs. i also experimented in making macrame rock-holders for handmade keychains.
flower pressing got me into gardening; i wanted more flowers to press, but it turned out i liked caring for the plants more than picking and decorating them. i started buying bouquets from kroger and food lion, which are not typically assorted for flattening and pressing, but rose petals are gorgeous either way. do not use parchment paper to press on because your flowers will rot and mold; use thick cardboard paper to better absorb the water the flowers carry.
